Biography
After studying Fine Art and Contemporary Dance at University in London I pursued a career in dance, stage magic, aerial circus arts and stunt wing walking before taking up Visual Art full time. My performing career undoubtedly contributed to the shaping of my painting style from one very much grounded in reality to one of imagination and altered perspectives. My paintings have evolved into surreal and colourful metaphorical mindscapes kindled by countless hours marvelling the wonders of nature and ignited by the euphoria of exploring its mysteries. However, I still love to render realism in graphite, coloured pencil or gouache and can recreate any photographic image with precision. Detail is my thing!
