To create this piece I set off at sunrise on my camel to spend many days in front of The Treasury in Petra. Known as Al Khaszna in Arabic this is an ancient sculpture that gives the illusion of grandeur as if you are about to enter a large palace, only to lead to a cave. This painting has many layers of history and many layers of paint, taking more than a year to complete.
