Biography
Amanda has always loved painting and drawing. She specialises in acrylic paintings on canvas and biro sketches. Originally from Manchester, she now lives in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire. Amanda studied Art to A-Level and since then is mainly self taught. Her favourite subjects are animals and she usually works from photographs and aims to capture the character and personality of the animal. She likse to use bright colours and enjoys using large brushes and working on a large scale. Amanda is mainly influenced by the pop art and impressionist movements.
