Biography
Kevin is a commercial graphic designer and illustrator who began a second career as a fine artist in 2010. His work captures the elemental forces of land, sea, and sky and he has featured in and contributes to several art publications. Kevin was Vice-Chairman of the National Maritime Museum Art Club 2012 – 2014 and Chairman of the Old Royal Navy College Art Club Greenwich, he is currently Chairman of the Thames Maritime Artists. Recent projects have included a series of historical marine works for the Guildhall Museum and Eastgate House Rochester Kent together with private marine themed commissions. He has shown at the Royal Society of Marine Artists Exhibition at the Mall Galleries several times, in 2020 he won the "Classic Boat Prize". Kevin also demonstrates painting techniques with acrylics and watercolours to several arts clubs and undertakes private commissions. His work is represented in the permanent collection of the Guildhall Museum and Eastgate House Rochester, Upnor Castle Kent and collections in Canada, the Channel Islands, France, New Zealand, and the UK.
