Biography
I have been painting for 30 years and now work from my small studio in Farnham Surrey. My work falls into two areas. The vibrant ever changing colours of flowers, plants and trees throughout the seasons has always fascinated me and I find that Watercolour is the perfect medium to capture their timeless appeal. My other work is producing highly detailed representations of buildings, architecture and street scenes and this makes up a large portion of my commission work. I find capturing every detail in bricks and buildings a source of never ending fascination. I gained my B.A Honours degree in Fine Art Printimaking from The West Surrey College Of Art And Design in 1981. I am a full member of The Society Of Floral Painters and one of only a few women to be a full member of The Society Of Architectural Illustration.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Susie on this commission. My siblings and I wanted to commission a painting of my parent's new house for their joint birthday. The timelines were quite tight, but Susie met the deadline exactly. The communication throughout was excellent and we appreciated receiving photos of the painting as it progressed. Susie did an excellent job capturing the detail of the herringbone brickwork and was able to turn quite a dreary winter front garden into something bright and beautiful, giving the painting a dreamy, summer feel.
