'Disused Bridge at Cahersiveen, Kerry, Ireland'

Biggin Hill, Westerham
An old disused railway bridge between the mainland Co. Kerry and the island of Valentia, where the original Atlantic cable was laid, being the furthest point west in Europe. Oil on canvas. Framed with simple modern waxed wood. This was one of my first attempts at painting oils after 'getting serious' with painting. I have reworked the top part with the same brushstrokes as the foreground, the painting is now hugely improved. Also available as open edition Giclée on canvas.
