Needle felted Staffy Portrait. I am needle felt artist and I use wool as my paint and a special barbed needle to stab the wool onto the background material. This process takes many hours. I work from a customers photo and recreate the Dog or animal to be as near realistic as possible. The background is Linen. This portrait shows all the variations of the fur colours and textures and all the highlights that you would get from a photo.
